Um... Timed objectives in Showcase?

You get interrupted so darned much in these games, why would you want to put time limits on your "script", on top of your opponents not following the "script"?

This is going to be a problem.

I was actually about to say, the punching minigame 100% absolutely ruins the timed objectives. Especially ones you gotta do in 30 secs.

Yup, literally just screwed me on the Rocky Maivia vs Hunter Hearst Helmsley match. I hate timed objectives with a burning passion and would really like to slap the hell out of whatever moron thought it would be a good addition to the game.

If there are unlocked Wrestlers in those timed objectives that would suck because I want my full roster unlocked, but if it's for Wrestling gear, I don' t care about that stuff.

The timed attacks are how you get the females in the Tamina showcase match

Holy smokes just got to the Tamina match... 30 seconds? Who in their right mind would do this? This needs to be changed.

I also loved the "3 Minute Warning" Match, where Paul Heyman explicitly says: "there will be no 3 minute warning" while TWO objectives are timed by 3 minutes.

These timed things are just bad, really bad. I do not enjoy this years showcase at all despite listening to Heyman who does a wonderful job.

It is absolutely horrible. Timed objective after timed objective. Playing it on any other difficulty than easy is impossible. Well, not impossible but no fun at all. Who thought that would be a good idea?

I can only agree with that! The dumbest idea a developer has ever had. You can hardly enjoy the showcase because you have to rush through it! Just plain stupid!

But it gets even worse. The ladder match with Tamina tops it all. As if it wasn’t already hard enough to win a ladder match, you have to go up against three others and, on top of that, perform specific actions on all three! Just ridiculous!!!

The timed objectives are annoying and I think I only pulled two of them off. I'm on the 4tn or 5th showcase and unless they get super hard after that, they don't seem to hard once you know what the move is. a lot of it is just stuff you'd normally in the match

it gets worse with the 5-woman Money in the Bank Match. You have timed objectives, but you also get constantly interrupted by the other wrestlers and if you do get lucky enough to complete all the objectives, you have to contend with actually winning the match (ladder matches are already a challenge, but now you have 4 other opponents that are ready to mess up your ladder minigame.)

...to make it even worse, it seems like the AI are all dead set on ganging up on you so there are times when you have the 3 AIs fighting you or around you, leaving one of the other AIs free to get the briefcase. Took me more than 10 retries to actually get past that showcase, and it was just plain luck. I hope the game doesn't bug out with the saves getting wiped like in the early days of 2k24, because I don't want to go through the showcase again.

I gave up on this. I spent 3 hours repeating this one and I just can't. I don't care about morality or not, I am now looking on how to edit the game to unlock all the showcase ones because this situation alone is just frustrating to all heck and back.

Same here. Also same applies to myrise after a certain point. 4 way tornado tag that you have to win to progress? Not happening. When the appropriate edit makes it's appearance (and it will, sooner or later), I'm unlocking via that.
