But its a time and place for everything to be tough, in Showcase when I do it, I'm trying to breeze through, I get annoyed as in mad at the game think tanks when they do tough stuff in this mode.
Showcase is suppose to be or to me, just learning about the story or the past. Shouldn't be annoyances when remembering or learning about the past.
Time and place for everything. This is one thing I do not feel 2K copes with well.
They picked the wrong thing to showcase.
If they doing tough showcase thing,
Goldberg.
Your his opponents and every match is a squash match that you have to try and survive and you learn more if you survive. He has unlimited signatures, and its a squash match as in you take like what is the squash like x4 damage?
Gotta do all 174 of them (until he actually loses).
Now you got something to talk about, thats something that has meaning in a showcase to be tough, you want people to feel how tough goldberg is, no better way than him squashing everyone and you gotta try and survive it.
Because honestly thats how Goldberg felt in era back in his undefeated streak. You getting people to feel going to that era being in that era with that in era mindset and knowledge and seeing goldberg, thats how he felt. dominant.
Oh and in the showcase you gotta watch his entrance NO SKIPPING, for extra intensity vibes and extra vibes of getting raged when he squashes you and knowing you gotta watch his entrance all over again.
Oh and if you lose you gotta watch his ending where he gets super excited and what not, and shouts WHOSE NEXT or YOUR NEXT
Goldberg showcase that would be fun especially very difficult.
Any other showcase difficult I'm trying to enjoy the videos and what not, goldberg his showcase I think would be better from getting squashed.
Maybe after 3 squashes you continue, pity continue. Because thats what he did SQUASH.
By time you end with that, goldberg being dominant force will be a thing to remember and that showcase. Honestly I would really enjoy this showcase.
They could have a competition go through that showcase and never lose, gauntlet style, like the AJ styles million dollar towers challenge.
But thats not how 2K thinks, so whatever tough thing they want us to do, its just going to be annoyance type vibes.
And it's some stuff like "Hit 2 Light Combos in 30 seconds". If the opponent counters you (i set it down to easy, bc it would be unbearable otherwise) you can restart the match, bc there isnt enough time to do it.
Just a very bad design choice, after we finally got fully rendered cutscenes in the mode again and not the spliced real-life footage. One step forward, two steps back
it gets worse with the 5-woman Money in the Bank Match. You have timed objectives, but you also get constantly interrupted by the other wrestlers and if you do get lucky enough to complete all the objectives, you have to contend with actually winning the match (ladder matches are already a challenge, but now you have 4 other opponents that are ready to mess up your ladder minigame.)
...to make it even worse, it seems like the AI are all dead set on ganging up on you so there are times when you have the 3 AIs fighting you or around you, leaving one of the other AIs free to get the briefcase. Took me more than 10 retries to actually get past that showcase, and it was just plain luck. I hope the game doesn't bug out with the saves getting wiped like in the early days of 2k24, because I don't want to go through the showcase again.
