Should We Expect a Price Increase for WWE 2K26?
Nintendo just set the standard with $80 games. WWE games are already on the cheaper side when compared to NBA 2K games, which sale for 69.99. My question is this: Are y'all ready for WWE 2K26? Are you ready to pay an increased price for a broken creation suite, a lack of online functionality, The Island of Microtranscations with non-editable attire parts? No, I don't think you heard me. I asked ARE. . . YOU. . . REEEAAADDDYYYY!?!?

Yes, I am ready. The only thing they understand is cash. The problem is they have a grip on WWE games, its the only game for the fans. And that's the only people that buy the game on PC it feels like given its just released and we have under "2K" players online across the entire globe. Wrestling is a very niche audience, filled with young people and gullible people who get tricked into paying for packs for that favourite wrestler of theirs locked behind a live event, that's locked behind a random card inside a pack that's locked behind time and money. With no guarantee on that time or money. There is no respect for your time or your money by this company. It's clear in everything they do, from the unstable online cheap P2P since way back and even the Faction Wars image of the Rock slapping Cody across the face. Which could be seen as the corporation smacking the Cody crybabies across the face. As the Rock would say "Shut your mouth!"

That's how I feel when you mention that they don't seem to have respect for your time. A lot of us uniquely use this game for the Creation Suite and it's not very fun when we have to grind through modes that we only play for the sheer purpose of using the only other mode we care about.

Nah its not niche.
Its just not good game.
Not a good game makes it niche. as in the game niche.

WWE itself they sell out crowds city to city. So wrestling is niche doesn't apply.

Its more so people been the same pattern this company does since WWE '14
this never deliver never innovates never spectacular.

Its just meet MVP next year, do same next meet MVP
MVP is set very low, with $$$ focused.

This game this year got MIXED reviews, usually means check yourself something aint right, now is the time to fix stuff change up the make innovate it, DO NOT DO what you last year.
2K26 they gonna do what this game and just do a few updates, along roster update and removing inactive people.

MIXED review DO NOT DO what you last year.
Positive review especially the very very positive reviews, KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DOING.

Lemme tell you something.
2K
Civ VI, very positive
Civ VII, lets change it up, because why not its very positive we have backward mindset, lets change the game.
Civ VII MIXED as in MIXED is BAD reviews, unwise to change up the game, not received well from the previous VERY POSITIVE game

WWE opposite
MIXED, as in BAD reviews.
oh its bad? lets do what we do last year.
oh its bad again? lets do what we did last year

2k as a video game company Is something.

Also reviews aren't all either, if its very positive an brand new game up to date and so on and its like 2k people playing and the reviews super good and its a well known brand, it means the reviews are likely to be fishy.
It happens this day an age when you got $$$$ companies and its likely can use influence to influence reviews in a certain way. Hence some bad games bad bad games, they'll get 80 or higher metric score.

yeah, if you stick with steam prices. If you know where to go you can get a substantial discount on pre-orders for PC games.

Asking an even higher price would just drive people away. It for sure would do it for me.
Price increase or not, I'm taking a break after WWE 2k25. Other than roster updates, they only seem interested in finding more ways to MTX the customer base to death, or force them to grind modes they normally wouldn't want to play.

I bought 2k14, 2k16, (PS3) 2k17,2k18, and 2k19 (PC)... then 2k23,2k24 and 2k25 (PC)... It's time to back off for me; they've received enough of my money for now.

I want to see actual improvements in features, roster, DLC and much less in the way of MTX and grinding moving forward.

This take is exactly it.
