MyFaction Pin System ruins MyFaction

MyFaction was never very good, but they outright ruined it completely this year for me.

There is a new pin system where you have to time things, and its janky. In all other modes you can select the old rapid button press system, but for some stupid reason they decided not to allow that here.

I tried this, and the CPU tried a quick roll up pin when I was at full health and a few seconds into the match, and I wasn't able to kick out. I won't be playing MyFaction ever again unless this is changed, and it won't likely be changed because I've read some people have gotten responses stating this is intended.

myfaction ai has allot of issues /glitches no matter how badly u seem to damage them they almost instantly get up infinitely counter and when it comes to button mashing they seem to have mashed their buttons 100 times before u even get to click your button once

personally i like the timed pin system, and it is what I always use. i can understand why you wouldn't want to use it, because I feel the same way about the non-button mash version of the submission system.

this is the first year i have really dove into myfaction, because it is just ea ut garbage. i noticed how much the game just cheats in this mode. i can spend the whole match squashing an opponent, get them down to minimum health with a lit-up paper doll, then they will just kick out at 1 and proceed to beat me in a minute and a half without giving me a single counter window. imo, this won't be fixed because it serves the intended purpose. this mode cheats so that you get mad and spend money to get better cards in the hopes it makes the game stop cheating.

That's why it cheats yes. But I think that's different than forcing the new pin system on those of us who don't like or are just really bad at it, or both. The latter will push people away from playing the mode rather than keeping them in it (which cheating does), so driving their cash grab away from them.

that's the rub, though. each tier of card (bronze, gold, emerald, etc) makes those systems easier. the higher the tier card, the slower the slider moves. you can test it in exhibition mode by picking a 60+ OVR and putting them against a 90+ OVR. take turns pinning with each and you will see what I mean. it feels like this year, more than the last few, the QoL improvements actually just mask system changes to make the game more frustrating. this game has been declining since 2k19, and now it looks like they have decided to go full EA. I'm afraid, 2k26 is going to look like Madden.

How does Madden look like?
AI in MyFaction getting their revenge, back in 2K22 2K23 they get whooped easy within 1 minute.

Also a lot of games as of late are tough games as in AI stomping players. But there is a difference between a good AI stomping vs cheating AI. Or AI with bloated hp.
