Ran into another Freeze

i've had very few issues with the game, has almost run flawlessly.

in the past i did have a freeze on the title screen, and today after playing for a while ran into a freeze when going to the moveset menu.

was total freeze like that past one, could not end task or alt-F4 and had to hold power button on computer to turn it off.

i'm on Windows 11 btw

it's still the only game i've played that can actually freeze the operating system (as i suppose is what happens) altho it's quite rare for me.

Yea i have had the same problem since Wwe 2k24 and some ppl say that problem is on windows and we are NOT getting updates on that soon....

welp had a couple more freezes in another session so had to do two hard resets

one was in the Entrance section when going to an entrance, it like froze on the black transition screen

the other was while loading a match using a CAW i had made with a custom titantron/entrance....with this one i could heard the music distorting before it went silent with the freeze

when getting back to the game the same match set up loaded fine then.

i get a feeling the freeze likely often has some relation to the Creation stuff as opposed to the default wrestlers and game as is.

i've since turned off vsync in an effort to maybe make the situation happier, since my monitor is higher than 60 but i got no idea if it makes any diff

I usually crash during MyRise loadings. It's kinda random, I had a multihour session with no issue this afternoon, and when I tried to play tonight I had two freezes in like 30 minutes... Turning Vsync on or Off, playing windowed or fullscreen, nothing has worked for me

My game always froze the whole PC, either when starting to game or at least later when a match or cutscene was loading.

The only way to fix it, was to downgrade my Windows 11 from 24H2 to 23H2. if you haven´t updated your system to 24H2 within the past 10 days you have to reinstall your whole system (as I had to do)
It was a real hassle to get the version as MS doesn´t offer it anymore and of course I had to backup everything because downgrading deletes all your files. But hey....Now I can finally play WWe2k25 without any crashes/freezes....

yah looks like i do got 24H2...i'm not gonna mess with that all stuff, so i will just keep rolling the dice XD

it's so weird that a Windows update would seem to affect only 2K WWE games, i dunno why that would be

and i think freezes were an issue in 24, and probably 23 or even 22. so some stuff gotta predate that update too.

but if you're freeze-free that is good of course

so far MyRise has worked fine for me but we shall see

played the game a couple times recently and had no probs then....the freeze stuff can be so random feeling when it will trigger

so after not having a freeze happen for like a month i experienced today it trying to freeze while loading a MyFaction match but it actually recovered, but it later froze Windows up loading a MyRise sequence.

is such a weird thing between it and Windows

had to hard shutdown the computer as before, but game worked fine when trying it again.
