so ive done it with different percentages, and sometimes ive made it the sole match with 100%. and it would just spawn 5 matches of normal 4 way rather than the custom.
and ive also made just a normal 1v1 with KO on... and yeah that doesnt work either. so instead of going through the whole list im going to assume that custom matches dont work on universe. im on PC btw
Did they give you a link to an issue tracker page?
This basically forces players into playing out their matches in exhibition instead and makes Universe Mode hard to enjoy.
It doesn't make a difference either whether the AI books a custom match via match table or the player does manually. This "core-feature" of a sandbox, where it is all about customization still is NOT WORKING properly.
Great game otherwise, with very fun gameplay but if I got a dollar for every bug I came across I'd be well fed through the yearly cycle. Please Visual concepts scrap this messy decade old spaghetti code and create Universe Mode from scratch. It worked with the gameplay overhaul and GM-mode has become pretty good through the years as well. You guys CAN PROPERLY CODE!

As far as custom rules on mathes in general the mode still doesn't work properly.
I'm kinda over sending support tickets to 2K and be part of their QA...have already had to send a couple for myFaction issues and the responses at times are snarky and uncalled for.
We shouldn't pay full price for the privilage of being beta-testers and having to deal with questionable support.
Disregarding questions about specific issues in other modes to point me to FAQ-links that deal with unrelated topics and don't do anything to actually adress the issues I referred to.
I'll gladly report bugs and features not dealing correctly as I spend a lot of time playing and come across these things but I struggle with the idea of feedback being either ignored or in the case of the MyFaction-support making me jump through additional hoops of providing evidence that I already provided, at times multiple times...
I did send proof in every e-mail, they didn't bother checking multiple times and had me resend the same screenshots which then was accepted without issue...
Redirecting players to FAQs to inrelated topics is...well a joke, what is the point in replying then if you don't even bother properly reading the feedback.
I know the devs are a solid team and deal professionally with feedback, support at times really does not.
