Can't Load Into A Match With A Created Superstar

Even after this patch, I still can't load into a match or even Create An Entrance with an Custom Wrestler or Custom Alt attire. I can't deal with this, I just want to play the game.

(US Legal Steam Copy) CAW'S Crash the Game

i have 2k25 on steam and i can't load any match or create entrance with any CAW (Create a Wrestler) All my custom attires and wrestlers crash the game before i load into a match etc, i've seen this is an issue for others on steam but no solution is provided. anyone have an idea? (My windows name is not in a different language either)

This been happening a long time, I had a wife beater arena that I was pretty proud of before it failed to save it. Blame snickers.

No I live in america. It is in english not cyllric or any other language.

Just because you live in America doesn't mean special characters won't be used. Accented letters are all over the place.

No, its every Custom Superstar I create, download off Community Creations Or even Custom Alt Attires. The game crashes the second I load into a match or even create and entrance. Also my windows name is "Owner" with no added characters

Other obvious questions I have to ask are incoming...
Is the game installed onto an SSD?

I was having this exact same issue and found a solution. Weirdly enough, the folder holding my game save data was “Hidden” so once I changed that I was able to go back into the game and can now use CAWs in all game modes, download from the community, and create new ones. Idk if this is the same for you and everyone else, but I recommend going into your C:Drive>Users>(Your username)>App Data>Local, right click on the WWE 2K25 folder and ensure make sure it isn’t “hidden”. I figured out where the problem is.

If the Windows system and username is not in English.

The crash will happen.

After i changed the system language and Created a new english user，The problem has been solved

I am just having this issue as well. Where it will freeze my whole computer where I have to shut it down. Also what is up with the cage matches? Lmao, they just get stuck.

Dear friends, here's what worked for me. I've tried deleting previous game (wwe 2k24 with saves), I've tried to delete save files from documents, I've tried to run wwe 2k25 with no DLC's, run as administrator, changed graphic settings, BUT none of these worked.

And my account have no cyrillic letters. But here's the key - if you change your cyrillic account into "only english" - it doesn't work. You need to CREATE NEW ENGLISH ACCOUNT. And now everything is working for me.
