WWE 2K25 Release Time/Pre-Download Information

The Steam download times are below for the Advanced Access for non-Standard editions on the 7th and the official release date of the 14th.

New Zealand (NZDT) - 6:00 PM
Australia (AEDT) - 4:00 PM
Japan (JST) - 2:00 PM
Singapore (SGT) - 1:00 PM
United Kingdom (GMT) - 5:00 AM
United States (EST) - Midnight
United States (PST) - 9:00 PM

NOTE: The US starts Daylight Savings Time during Advanced Access, so the release times on the 14th will be 1 hour earlier outside of the US.

It's releasing at the same time worldwide at midnight US Eastern Time (plus some time for the server to actually release the game, so give it an hour before panicking and remember to restart Steam).

If you are getting keys from somewhere other than Steam, please check with the vendor instead of posting here. The 2K Store's vendor is Xsolla.

Please note that there has been no pre-download of the game since WWE 2K20 so I wouldn't expect it this year either.

Pre-Order Question

Will it still count as pre-order if I got it just now? It still says for me the release date is March 14th.

First of all it depends on the Edition you bought, since the Standard Edition has no 7 days early access. If you bought either the Deadman or the Bloodline Edition you will be able to download and play the game at Midnight EST. Don't Look at the Release Time on the Library Page, since this Time is for the Standard Edition, since the / Day Early Access is tied to the DLC wich will appear in your account at Midnight EST. At the store page you can see the Release Time for the other editions.

Deadman edition release not from steam

I pre ordered the deadman edition from Green Man Gaming, just received the key. But on steam it's telling me that it only unlocks on the 14th and not the 7th... Am I the only one with this issue?

Same. I think you can see the countdown on the store page. When it's done,you can download it,I guess. Hey,I bought it from Greenman too

11 hours until release. Don't worry about it. Steam doesn't show Early Access dates in your library.
Also bought Deadman Edition at GMG :D Like every year~

just checking, it's my first time pre-ordered from an other seller other than steam and because it only shows me that the game unlocks on the 14th I was wondering.

You should get an email soon or have already, your code should work now.

I just got an email about the pre-purchase and entered the code and activated it, I tried to activate it days ago when I pre-purchased it but It was saying the game was already in my library and was getting worried I'd been had, but fortunately I got the email just a couple of minutes ago.

I was going to contact them tomorrow if I still wasn't able to activate it, and buy it from somewhere else.

I received the code and activated it. My question was on the steam side. Because it only says unlocking the 14th. That’s what the issue was.

Steam will always show the main game unlock date in your library. However, the Deadman and Bloodline editions will unlock at 10pm CST. You'll be able to download them then.

Hey guys, just bought the Bloodline edition. When will it let you preload? I'm pretty sure on PS5 you can already have it downloaded by now. The game should unlock at 9PM PST right?
