Is 2K WWE $$ hungry? DLC
I'm watching a Youtube video to see whats coming out in this game.
This whole YouTube already talking about DLC before the game is even out.
All these DLC teasers.

Why not just put it in the game.

I feel they spend like 60% time making innovating the game, then like 40% of their time DLC.
So the innovation is very slow.

DLC's you gotta pay more. If they already about DLC its already available then right? Why wait why make people pay more.
Why we talking about DLC before the game is even released? Game aint out yet why talk about DLC, just put that in the game if you can talk about before the game is already out, it should already be available right.

Money hungry.

The DLC isn't available for download, no. But they have the Season Pass that includes it so it's better for them to let everyone know what they'll be getting over the coming months.

Less than a week from launch and 2K hasn't revealed a single name on the season pass whereas 2K24's full list was out a year ago.
Less than a week until Advanced Access begins... which is a week this year, rather than three days. That's likely throwing certain things out of sync, not that the marketing always lines up perfectly year-on-year to begin with.
I am actually looking forward to this game.I think the DLC character packs be pretty good too, thinking a lot of returning characters. The good ones.

I'm just ticked off watching a YouTube about new things new updates to WWE 2K25 and all it is, is talking for 20 minutes talking about DLC.

I'm thinking tell what this game got, game is not out yet why so much information on DLC and they showing DLC teasers.

DLC is pay $$$$ on top of whatever you already paying. Basically trying to normalize games costing $99 or $129. Buying those editions.

This game isn't out yet. Focus on what this game is going to have not DLC teasers.
Probably gonna have a ton of bugs because
"hey developers start working on make teasers for DLC"
fix these bugs I would like barely noticeable to no bugs type of launch.
I hate tons of bugs expected, is the norm, 2020s norm is expect bugs.

When I bought Shut your mouth, HCTP, etc. there was no noticeable bugs. Yearly released games too. There was no we can fix it later in a patch.

I like DLC, but right now I do not care about DLC, and having tease DLC before the game is out, is like teasing if you pay more $$$ you get 5 new superstars
If you pay more $$$$ you get 5 more superstars.
Before the game is even released you already trying to start milking me.
I don't like that. I don't like their approach to how they go about teasing DLC before game is released.

I'm probably going to end up paying for the $99, the $129 one seems like its nothing MyFaction stuff, that mode is already easy.

This just my thread saying I don't the direction of DLC, haven't liked DLC since decades ago. I aint going to be normalized by this.
Seems like a quality of game on release, the games back in 2005, hardly any bugs, vs games now with their DLC and all this lootbox and $$$$ stuff. Released with tons of bugs.
Most of the times they don't get to fixing all the bugs too. Seems like people are normalized to thinking about games being released with bugs.

I'm looking forward to this game, and I don't want to be talking about bugs or bad netcode, stuff not working, or servers are trash and so on, I want to be enjoying this game, talking about how good this game is when it is released.
dlc teaser is out

And it was within the final week for 2K23 and 2K22. As long as the information is out before the game is, there's no real issue.
My problem with the DLC's is they take too long to release. They started talking about this years game before all the DLC were released for last years game.At least get all current stars released early so current rosters can be copied, release the legends and HOFers later,

They're already selling a $130 edition with zero information, it is objectively an issue.

Zero information about what?
These games already have a large amount of content.

While you can quibble about the price, the DLC really isn't intended to be essential.

They will release the DLC list most likely in the next few days, they decided to do something different/interactive by giving out clues before the list will be released. We have a pretty good idea of who is in the DLC this year both newer stars and legends.
