Trying to decide - PC or PS5
I don't care much about the Island. I do want the platform that will have the most community creations. I know PC is with ps4 and Xbox One, and PS5 and Xbox Series are together.

I know PS5 will have way more people playing online than PC does. I have Mutliple PC handhelds (and a few powerful rigs with 4090 etc) as well like ROG Ally X, and I have PS Portal.

So, idk. I usually always play these games on PC the most. I'm sure it will run great on PS5.

What do you guys think? Would there be overall way more community creations on PC or PS5 route, and what other factors may make this an obvious choice?

its not no , its the same graphic fidelity but minus the island

Where are you getting that from? Because if we are getting the PS4/Xbone version it doesn't make sense for us to be getting the PS5/XSeries console graphics.

If we compare 2K24's PS4 and PS5 version you can see differences the most obvious being hair, less blurriness around tattoos, better skin details, and lightening effects. Oddly I can't find any good video comparisons between PC and PS5 for 2K24 which would be the most relevant game here.

But if look at 2K22 which the PC version was also old gen. https://youtu.be/qZcg3DWy-CM?si=ZDZZzh2R-n-wfKEI&t=33 A great example of how the PS5 looks better is here at 33 seconds. Look at Roman's tattoo. The PS5 is provides a much more clearer tattoo. Looking at this on my 4K OLED the difference is quite noticeable.

So it's clear the old gen version port to PC isn't the same quality as the current gen consoles.

*Edit* 53 seconds is another great example. In this you can see the hair quality difference a bit, the text of his name on whatever it is called on his arm is way more clear, better face details, and better lightening.

Any PC dude will tell you its an utter doddle to fix default texture quality and filtering issues, that are artificially inhibiting the quality, with simple forcing of driver presets outside the game which any noob can do in 5 minutes, then we have supersampling and sharpening that ONLY PC can force manually.... because we dont have performance capping of a console, hell the PS5 pro (a whopping 15% faster than PS5 normal LMAO) is like 4 years behind PC in terms of performance so its all marketing hype crap about 'last gen every single year' and every time its a simple fix to make PC look superior. Far as I can see subtlety of hair fx as about as much as you can expect to be ahead on the console version, but thats purely laziness on the devs part so I'll never accept its because they couldnt do it, just that they didnt for marketing, cos they need give them a tiny reason to stay on the inferior console platforms at any cost lol

I've never had a problem playing a WWE 2K game offline on console. Some modes are online so they can't be used, but the offline modes have always been available.
I tested it on WWE 2k24... I turned off my internet and I was signed out of PSN,,,, I turned on WWE 2k24 and it would not start at all. Try it.
So it turns out I can play 2k24 offline. I think I know what happened; I have my games on a hard drive, I think I tried playing the game while my hard drive wasn't connected to my ps4, that would cause it not to work.
