Trying to decide - PC or PS5
I don't care much about the Island. I do want the platform that will have the most community creations. I know PC is with ps4 and Xbox One, and PS5 and Xbox Series are together.

I know PS5 will have way more people playing online than PC does. I have Mutliple PC handhelds (and a few powerful rigs with 4090 etc) as well like ROG Ally X, and I have PS Portal.

So, idk. I usually always play these games on PC the most. I'm sure it will run great on PS5.

What do you guys think? Would there be overall way more community creations on PC or PS5 route, and what other factors may make this an obvious choice?

Priorities dude. There's no real benefits other than the island, and if you don't care about that, it's all personal preference. And idk if you heard, they say the PC version is "last gen", but no 2k official can elaborate what that means. So take that with a grain of salt.

I'm not a 2K official but the thread I started saying 8th gen was only meant in terms of features. As in, the changes that are made to the 8th Gen console version will happen in the PC version. So far, that's everything but The Island and its related assets.

From what I hear, the console versions are buggy, but not nearly as much as the PC version. I wouldn't count on that changing in 2K25.

I highly doubt the PS5/XboxSeries is going to look at exact same as the PS4/Xbone/PC version. In-fact we can see that isn't the case in 2K24. The current generation of consoles does look better even more so around tattoos and hair. (Facial hair is way more apparent)

Then there are lightening effects. Which sadly the video doesn't cover. But if you are a CAW making lover like myself who likes to perfect not just looks but entrances. Lightening is very important for certain entrances both in game and real life. To me this is awful but meaningless to those who don't care about entrances.

If you plan on mostly playing on your mobile PC devices like the Deck or Ally than graphics and effects are likely not your main concern anyways. So go with the PC version.

If you are like myself that will often spend more time creating characters and trying to get everything about the character from entrance and looks to be as perfect as possible than PS5 will be the way to go.

Without a doubt, the PS5 (pro) this year. The PC version is a watered down crap port of outdated consoles.

Where are you getting that from? Because if we are getting the PS4/Xbone version it doesn't make sense for us to be getting the PS5/XSeries console graphics.

If we compare 2K24's PS4 and PS5 version you can see differences the most obvious being hair, less blurriness around tattoos, better skin details, and lightening effects. Oddly I can't find any good video comparisons between PC and PS5 for 2K24 which would be the most relevant game here.

But if look at 2K22 which the PC version was also old gen. https://youtu.be/qZcg3DWy-CM?si=ZDZZzh2R-n-wfKEI&t=33 A great example of how the PS5 looks better is here at 33 seconds. Look at Roman's tattoo. The PS5 is provides a much more clearer tattoo. Looking at this on my 4K OLED the difference is quite noticeable.

So it's clear the old gen version port to PC isn't the same quality as the current gen consoles.

*Edit* 53 seconds is another great example. In this you can see the hair quality difference a bit, the text of his name on whatever it is called on his arm is way more clear, better face details, and better lightening.

Nah, PC is getting PS5/XSeries graphics.....just not the island.

If it was cheaper on pc id buy it on pc. The graphics are pretty much the exact same in my opinion but the island isnt included with the pc version for the exact same price. So im going with PS5 just because its the same price but you're also getting the island to mess around with. Not really a mode i care about that much but for the same price Ill mess around with it and see what its like

Btw, I really think we're not missing much by not having The Island. It's basically nothing but a bunch of PVP matches to unlock gear. That's really it. There's really no single player stuff in it.
If you do PC, you can do Mods that will add-on to the game and make the game last longer and then if the superstar has a new theme, you can just replace it on pc to match it

I play most games on pc, but I always go with ps5 for wwe games.

So u guys think that it will be the same graphic? Also lights etc.
I do not care for the island thing there. I just dont want to get a Graphic downgrade.
