Then there are lightening effects. Which sadly the video doesn't cover. But if you are a CAW making lover like myself who likes to perfect not just looks but entrances. Lightening is very important for certain entrances both in game and real life. To me this is awful but meaningless to those who don't care about entrances.
If you plan on mostly playing on your mobile PC devices like the Deck or Ally than graphics and effects are likely not your main concern anyways. So go with the PC version.
If you are like myself that will often spend more time creating characters and trying to get everything about the character from entrance and looks to be as perfect as possible than PS5 will be the way to go.
Where are you getting that from? Because if we are getting the PS4/Xbone version it doesn't make sense for us to be getting the PS5/XSeries console graphics.
If we compare 2K24's PS4 and PS5 version you can see differences the most obvious being hair, less blurriness around tattoos, better skin details, and lightening effects. Oddly I can't find any good video comparisons between PC and PS5 for 2K24 which would be the most relevant game here.
But if look at 2K22 which the PC version was also old gen. https://youtu.be/qZcg3DWy-CM?si=ZDZZzh2R-n-wfKEI&t=33 A great example of how the PS5 looks better is here at 33 seconds. Look at Roman's tattoo. The PS5 is provides a much more clearer tattoo. Looking at this on my 4K OLED the difference is quite noticeable.
So it's clear the old gen version port to PC isn't the same quality as the current gen consoles.
*Edit* 53 seconds is another great example. In this you can see the hair quality difference a bit, the text of his name on whatever it is called on his arm is way more clear, better face details, and better lightening.
Nah, PC is getting PS5/XSeries graphics.....just not the island.
Btw, I really think we're not missing much by not having The Island. It's basically nothing but a bunch of PVP matches to unlock gear. That's really it. There's really no single player stuff in it.
I do not care for the island thing there. I just dont want to get a Graphic downgrade.
