Last I checked there was 77 players online. WB Games refuses to patch this game to be played offline. Unless your a data miner (3d model riper ) like me. You honestly have nothing left to gain from this game. Quidditch world cup ran on dolphin with the slippy netcode as more players then this game and that' pretty bad.

The moderators have gone an choose to plug there ears like kids and ignored glaring issues with this game. An according to steam db. The player count is dropping fast. So much for the not being a live service thing then force denuvo and updating the eula so the players don't own the game.

game should've been f2p from the start
This would have more people playing if they added in a Server run Bracket tournaments of some kind to keep things interesting. Like they could have different "Cups" with unique rewards and trophies for each tournament. Maybe cut the game up into seasons like other games do and each season there is a new Cup to win. This would motivate people to play and also cause people to create solid teams that they stick with. A leader board for different positions/teams/players. there is just nothing to keep things interesting...
I mean it went from from 6k peak player on launch to 900 average players in first month, September, to 100 average players in October... It was pretty much dead 2 weeks after launch.

It's been low activity for a while. Meanwhile League 7 has a set of dedicated fans who love this game. It is far more active if you play with them.

offline mode isn't going to make it more enjoyable, the ai is already braindead - pvp/endgame was where the game was gearing everyone for as they played, without the players this game offers nothing. The variable player builds don't matter against ai, you can play on the slowest/stock brooms and no-build-points as any role and still outplay the ai without any effort.

Wish they adopted a similar model to Rocket League, the accessibility of offline and ease of matchmaking from the beginning would've been a good start for gaining traction.. at least for the first few months... Still can't believe you can't match make in practice area... what a wasted opportunity.
yeah should go f2p already now I'm afraid if the same will happen to Rematch

or at least put on gamepass
