That’s not true at all. They had one game for all the playtests then released a completely different game than what people played. They also didn’t advertise the game at all because it’s not a very strong game in any fashion

I enjoyed the game until it started shoving PVP down everyone's throats as the player base died down. I had minor issues with the grind but the game was still fun with the pve content. Right now i've been in queue for 20 mins because the current unique reward is locked behind a map that is only available in PVP. i've only seen it Once the entire event and it ends in a day.

aside from earning rewards through events the majority is all earned in game you cannot buy anything with real money (aside from the deluxe edition)

Tried getting the PVP quests done yesterday, no chance of getting into a server. Guess I'll wait for them to drop the items in the vault... game's fun I suppose, it's just the same thing over and over, same plays, same strategies...

Game is not bad, fun gameplay, good mechanics for all the roles
I honestly don't get why it flopped so hard, maybe the price but it's barely half the price of some triple A.
That's the new 2020s trend, people want to play games for free.
You still have people for some 3v3, but good luck finding games in 6v6 with some supposed matchmaking.
Tryhard squads probably left (didn't see one in weeks) and cheaters get bored.

Game needed to come out whit something like teams and tournaments and a 6v6 from the kick off, and they had to think in advance that every one will want to play seeker.

I loved the game but it was killed by the exesive amount of small bugs (Even in the menu i had Bugs!!), the forever Q for seeker and the instant Q for Guardian (it shows that 90% of playeras were there just to play seeker), Bad single player (lets say it, single player experience was Bad), but i think that the worst thing was not having at least a ranked mode to compete.

You don't get why it flopped? The game is mind numbingly boring. I watched someone play it when it released on twitch and I was bored within 5 minutes. There is no redeeming qualities about this game whatsoever. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of other games to play that instantly come to mind that are infinitely more fun. This should have been part of the RPG, Quidditch is just not that interesting to begin with. Making a game specifically focused on it was a pretty dumb idea,,, and then they didn't even execute it well. Like, if it played similar to something like Rocket League, they would have something. It doesn't, it's just a terrible, outdated, boring game.

> The Video game failed because it looked boring to people watching someone else play it

Yea, they should of added some dopamine rushes for doing nothing all over the place and added a bunch of gambling mechanics, that would of saved it...

The fact is: it's a niche, licensed, game type from a small dev that wasn't able to pump out new content fast enough to compete with other competitive games; *cough* rocket league *cough*.
