Is there a campaign/story?

Iv been quite excited for this and after going through the tutorial I do enjoy the gameplay, but I dont quite like that you have to create multiple players right of the bat (and imo the character creator is pretty limited) so it doesnt seem like there will be a "becoming the best quidditch player" kind of story, at best it will be the best team?

How does it look going forward? I was kinda hoping for something akin to how FIfa used to do player or manager career modes, making a player and taking them as far as possible. Im not much of a multiplayer enjoyer so this is my main draw.

It has a career mode but not as in-depth character wise as FIFA

And do you actually eventually get to play as "your" character? I didnt even get to name any of mine or anything, is that just the tutorial thing or is that forever?

It definitely seems to be a tad barebones at the end of the day. I think the gameplay loop will be fun for a while, but I've already completed the Hogwarts Cup (granted, on the 2 star difficulty). I do wish there was a "just play as your player" kind of career mode. I also wish there was like a pro league of quidditch as that could add some flavor.

No, you are the entire team basically, although I suppose you could just main a single role, seems viable so far on normal difficulty.

Man thats so dissapointing. I was really banking on that :( You cant even name your player or anything :(

I agree, actual career mode is a must. Being able to play as your teammates is totally fine, but I dont really care to create them and manage them, especially given that you cant even name anyone. I really just wanted the career to be my characters career :X

I was hoping this would be like rocket league, but quidditch and you'd play as your character that you'd developed in legacy.
