Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions

The complaining about the Seeker “nerf” must end
I think the development studio has made exactly the right decision and I hope they stick to it. The Seeker is far too OP by the rules of the book and has no place in a competitive game. Even now I still think he is too strong/OP (a good Seeker gets 60%+ of the points in the team, which will be even more significant as soon as there are 6 vs 6 players)

I would rather see that there is only one golden snitch to catch in the final phase of the game, which then scores 30 points. Before that, the Seeker plays as a chaser.

The score for 30 points is perfect. The game can't be lore accurate and be a balanced video game. It's not a Quidditch Simulator.

That said, the Seeker role feels boring at times. In 6v6 the Seeker should be playable for a full game, with a tug of war style progress bar against the other Seeker. Something to make the role feel more special and impactful for the whole match.

you are absolutely right. I'm actually pretty impressed with how well the role of the Seeker has been implemented in the game. He can definitely decide games, but is not as overpowering as in the Harry Potter books.
30 points is perfectly fine for me. Just kind of wished catching the snitch was a little more difficult.

Seems pretty bizarre that people keep wanting to go hardcore on the canon interpretation of the rules when in lore there are quidditch games that last months because there is no time limit and the game only ends once the snitch is caught. I don't know about anybody else but I certainly do not have that much spare time.
Well u said it, i agree in everything, kisses
I really like how the seeker works in the game. I also agree on it being more difficult would make the role more fun to play. I'm already having fun, but it feels like the hunt for the snitch is over so quickly. It needs to be a role that is in the game all game long - for 6v6 they will probably do this and I am curious to see what they'll come up with.

I really just hope that the players stay in the game, I've seen people complaining and leaving the game for reasons that are not understandable to me, since all they're complaining about is how Rocket League started lol.
Sounds like the beaters are not doing their jobs.

yeah a lot of them honestly just try and hit you with the bludger and give up chasing you I dont blame them entirely as the seeker can just be constantly boosted and its up to the other seeker to help stop you buuuut beaters should be tackling a lot more than they are their whole role is disruption
I love the way the seeker plays in the game, and I think they balances the four classes really well. They all feel and play very differently, and I really appreciate that when I switch between them
Agreed. Devs did a wonderful job. 🔥❤
