I really dislike how the AI seeker on Champion difficulty gains progress much faster than players do (PVE, not PVP)
I play PvE with my sister a lot, she loves the seeker role. But with the balance updates from previous update came that the enemy AI seeker gains progress like 2-3 times faster than players do.

It's not even that it's a skill issue, it's pretty much out of our control. The best strategy we've found so far is that we let our AI seeker chase them and I become a beater with firebolt and exclusively tackle them because seekers don't dodge tackles.

If she becomes Seeker and I become Chaser: enemy seeker catches the snitch before she even reaches half progress despite going through all rings.

If she becomes Seeker and I become Beater: I exclusively focus on the enemy Seeker and our team lacks proper defense against Chasers, enemy Chasers score points. If I can't disable the Seeker in time then we lose the Snitch on top of that, and if she is eliminated then it's a near guaranteed loss of the Snitch

The snitch is just an obstacle right now that occupies our attention now. It just feels unfair and not fun. We enjoy the dynamic gameplay but it being interrupted by the 5 and 2 minute mark mandatory activity just makes it not fun anymore. The timer starts and I suddenly have to drop everything and just focus on something else.

I've tried different strategies and different skills, nothing compares to the gigantic progress multiplier enemy seekers have.

It's just not fun. The best Seeker strategy is to not be a Seeker and to prevent the enemy Seeker from scoring 30 points.

Well its both, a bit of skill but yes also a bit of programming it way to strong.
When u play with a mate, its easy, to a bit of a beater thing, its like pvp, there u mostly need a good beater, that u have a chance against the enemy seeker.

But I was playing alone. I took seeker and I just need the challenge/goal to find it, so i swapped out of seeker when i found the snitch. I took beater and knocked seeker, then I knocked beater. My seeker maybe had nearly 100%, enemy seeker 25%, so I thought: okay lets make some goals with my chasers... my seeker will catch the snitch... hahaha.... cant stop laughing. Dont know whats wrong with that programming, but my seeker is just not able to catch it. Enemy seeker was faster on 100% than me seeing a piece of chocolate and catches it...

On Champion difficulty the Snitch rings do not matter, they only are ment to keep your broom to full speed, so you can skip some, the main point is to stay close to the snitch to fill the meter, the rings do not matter, if my Chaser is in less then 10 mtr from the snitch the meter fills 50% faster then normal, that you can do with skill points.
