Bots in Multiplayer?!

According to the recent announcements, Quidditch Champions will include bots in multiplayer matches.

Let's be real, no one wants to play against bots in any type of game, yet alone in a game claims to be "a fast-paced, competitive multiplayer game featuring the world's most iconic magical sport."

Should we be concerned??

PRE-POST UPDATE: Oh well, I just noticed the FAQ is updated and they removed "a fast-paced, competitive" part. Now it is "sharing the magic with friends and family."

I also am devastated at this change. I am refunding my purchase as I was lied to in the description of the game. I wanted a competitive quidditch experience, bots in multiplayer games is antithesis to that competitive ideal. The FAQ changing only reinforces my thoughts… Heartbroken. :(

I was gonna pre order now I'm not even buying the game until they reverse the AWFUL bot decision. Make it 5v5 or 6v6 I don't care but we need full human teams!

If its playerbase you're concerned about make it free 2 play and earn money through cosmetics. Trust me, people are invested enough in Harry Potter that they will definitely buy them if its priced reasonably enough.

Making it F2P would probably increase the playerbase tenfold by Harry Potter's IP alone.

They have to revert this change or this game is doomed on an e-sport & competitive way from day one.

Thing is, we shouldnt have to ask for this to be added. Plus if they wait to late, the player base is going to be gone.

For matchmaking I think 3v3 makes since because the roles you switch between are afk half the timewhen you aren't playing them, but it would be cool if they have a custom games mode for actual competitions and what not to have real 6v6 play.

How do you know? Seeker, Keeper, and Beater don't have near the action that Chasers do. There is a lot of potential for e-sports that you can switch between the roles and have a very competitive balanced match. Saying the game is dead already just makes you looks stupid.

To add who says they are going for e-sports... Is NHL, NFL or any other sports game e-sports qualified to you? What sports game in general do you have real players control all roles at the same time.... People are stupid now days.

They were going for competitive, they even said on their FAQ (some guy checked and they changed competitive for "magical experience with friends and family" or something like that).

I can't imagine why they'd do this, if it was to fill empty spots, I'd understand but forcing you to pick 2 roles, and have 3 bots on your team is just weird, maybe they don't trust their game enough to have a playerbase for 7v7 from the get go, which is terrible. If they don't trust their product why would we?

I'm stupid for wanting something and believe is the right thing for the game, and they marketed the game as prior to this change? Got it. If you have nothing productive to say then don't say anything at all.

Also that person is dumb. Fifa literally has an 11 vs 11 mode lmao. And this game is more akin to Rocket League anyway and in RL every car is controlled by a human that I know of.
