Can't join Multiplayer since update 1.6.0

Hello,

I can't join my friend since the update to 1.6.0.
Both games are the same version.
We tried both methods, steam offers to connect.

Her inviting me (through Steam Chat and through the ingame pause menu button - which opens the steam invite anyway)
Me trying to join her via right click in the chat and "join game"

Any tips or recommendations?

Hi there, does the issue still persist?
You could try verifying the game files and reinstalling the game. Also, if you're using a VPN, it might be causing connectivity issues.

Apparently the issue fixed itself - I don't exactly know how.
