Please let the time start, when you open the shop!
Hey there.

I like it so much, that the day never end, until the player do. This helps a lot to do many things in the night.
But, honestly, when the next day starts, I have so much stress! I want to open the shop as fast as possible, but I have to collect all items from the docks, placing them into the shop, taking items from the cellar (which had just 1 day left) and repricing on events.
Especially fish what I catched the day before has just 1 day left. I cant transfer 20-30 fish every day and place them nice on the fish tables, because of stress, stress, stress.
It would be so nice to use my boat in the morning, not always in the night. Without wasting an entire day.

So, PLEASE, dear devs: Let the time start, when you open the shop!

I found out that if you keep 1 day left items on your horse or in your bags the timer wont go down. saves time so you dont have to take them to and from the cellar.

Thank you, I knew that. :ht_heart:
3 Problems here:

- When you quit your game (after sleeping, of course), the horse is in the barn and it needs time to come to you (I know, I can whistle it).
- When you quit your game, your bag is empty after loading save game (at least, I had this twice and I'm afraid to risk it again).
- There are way too many items you have to "rescue", especially, when you have to save 20-40 fish.

By the way: I found out, that you can use fish traps on special fish spots. The traps really catch the special fishs! *Yeah* :excited_boy:

My strategy for keeping fish fresh is to aim to sell out around evening then only stock 2 day remaining fish for overnight.

Your bags should not be empty when you load a save. You might want to fill out a bug report on the discord. The dev's are super active and helpful. They might ask for a save file to check some things out.

I also would like to start the time of the day with opening the shop. There is so much to do in the morning and you can see things much better when its daylight and not in the night :)

I use these strategy; Fill up my 2-3 fish tables with fresh fish I caught in the night.
Next day, when shop closed, I throw all brown and regular fish into the grinder. Only special fish (with 1 day) I save.
Additionally, I have on 3 fish spots (shark, octopus and grey fish) 10 fish traps each. Its way easier and faster to get the fish you need for the next day. I wish you could "repair" those fish traps, so you dont have to bring all the time new. The boat cant hold many of them.

This dont happen in your game? I thought its a bug everyone has, because I held two times items in my bag and both times they dissapeared. When I go to bed, game saves and the items are still in my bag, but when I end my game and start it later, they are gone.

Yah! My words!
Im VERY thankful that you can do everything in the night (all shops are open, for example) and you have unlimited time. But to have this also in the morning, before you open the shop totally stressed, I would really love this change.

I never had any luck with traps on the sharks.

I don't lose my items and neither does my partner when loading into my game at any point.

To be fair: I dont know if it works. I tried it yesterday at the octopus and I had 2 of my 10 fish traps with an octopus. Thats why I tried it also with the sharks now.
I placed buoys in the center of each fish spot and place my traps around them.

Thats strange, Thank you for your personal experiences.

The traps can catch any fish from what I understand. The catch rate is supposed to be roughly the same as using a rod. A rod is 50 casts and the shark is 4% I think. so 1 rod should be about 2 sharks but it has a lot of RNG and RNG is not my friend.

The octopus just makes the most sense based on location for offloading to the cellar. Bringing a pile of fish across the island is rough.

My 4 day (a fish trap cycle) result (wirh 10 fish traps each spot):

Day 1: Baby Shark 2 - Swordfish 0
Day 2: Baby Shark 0 - Swordfish 1
Day 3: Baby Shark 1 - Swordfish 1
Day 4: Baby Shark 0 - Swordfish 2

Funny is, on day 4 I got 0 octopus, 0 bass, 1 carp and 3 grey fish (also with 10 fish traps each). Very bad day.
Btw: On day 5 (with 10 new fish traps), I got 0 Baby Sharks.
