None of those are necessary or needed whatsoever.
In fact, they are things that should not be added to the game.
One might say they are unnecessary.

no they are not, especially at the beginning when you have no money anyway, you are more busy hauling the goods from the dock than selling the things. or employ an employee for that

Why do so many gamers want games to be automated? Why are you bothering to buy games if you're not willing to actually play them? Too many people want to just sit there and watch and/or do as little as possible.

Normally I would agree with you, but since the game is also declared as a single player, you would spend a whole day getting the goods from the port. You could optionally add it in the menu whether you want it delivered to the port or the cellar.

I just bought less than the half of the cellar and I NEVER had an employee for the cellar. I also have no cashier. I just have the cleaning employee.
I manage the shop totally alone. Max size, all possible items, 19x reputation. Without any stress.

I am with the others: You asking for senseless features.

Personally I agree with coolspot on getting delivery to the cellar me and my friend are going away from ordering product cause doing the travel everymorning for new product isn't something we find fun. We prefer doing every other aspect of the game because frankly I don't see how you guys find transporting box back and forth fun.

I would definetly not put it has important or necessary since it become a chore only after you unlock multiples merchandise and at that point if you don't like it just don't do it.

Cool for you, you aren't even concerned with this then, let other people ask for their quality of life when your gameplay isn't concerned.

You see problems that aren't exist. Or better say: You are creating problems. (No offendings!)
I produce as much as possible and I buy as little as possible.
I can open the shop immediately the next day starts and I have to place just a few boxes, who expires in one day, but this are 1-3 boxes.
The stuff at the docks I take in the night.
There is no stress. Every employee, except the cleaner, is just useless.
If you ask: Yes, I'm playing totally alone, no multiplayer.

Really! When I was in midgame, I thought: "What the heck?! So much stress! Every day I lose so much time until I can open the shop!". But I changed my playstyle and now, its really chill.

ONLY events and (especially!) new season is a pain, because of price changes you only can do next day (or you exactly know the changes and do this in the night before).
Fishing is the total time consumption. I need every day between 30-60 minutes ONLY with fishing (emptying the 80 fishing traps (10 traps on 8 special spots)).

Adding the possibilty to hire somebody to transport the goods to the cellar or pay a bit extra to have it delivered to the cellar would be an option, but having it directly delivered to the cellar is really not necessary.
Claiming it would take the whole day to move ordered goods to the cellar is widely exagerated, or you just do it wrong.

I have over weeks ordered the maximum of 40 goods and it just needs moving the lift two to three times (depending on how big the items you order are). You take up 5 items (at the point when you order that many stuff you should have the biggest backpack), drop em in the lift till thats full, then you hop on board yourself ride over and make some 5 item-trips to the cellar and drop the stuff there. You'd be done before even noon if you move somewhat fast.
