Does discover all plant types award correctly?

I see a lot of people have gotten it, but I have discovered all types and not gotten it.

Do you need to make every type in the same game, maybe?

Yes, the achievement will only trigger if the tree at the end shows every plant type as discovered, as per the achievement icon.
If you want to cheese it a little bit, you cando it over multiple sessions by pressing the reset icon after you die, as the game will remember which plants you've discovered in your previous run.

They did all show as discovered, I'm pretty sure? It didn't seem like it was 'forgetting' plants that I hadn't used in the very latest run.

Interesting. Maybe you actually do need to use them all in one run; sorry! But it's not terribly difficult to do that, I think.

Probably not terribly difficult! I didn't do it because when I won I wasn't really messing around with green plants, and when I did use the green plants I didn't use double-red because I always felt I had more urgent uses for the resource.
