Look at the greyish one, does it correlate to any of the other orbit positions displayed? And, does it contain the same colored spheres as in the hologram?
I still don't think I understand. :(
I feel like I must be missing something obvious.
Is there a screenshot somewhere of the correct combination?
Just in case you got something out of place...
The Wolf.
Inner ring (white-blue planet), starting right of red sphere, rotate twice clockwise.
2nd ring (larger blue planet), left of red sphere.
3rd ring (smaller blue planet), starting right of red sphere, rotate three times clockwise
In the room I noticed some combinations show the grey sphere in a different orbit, but the player is unable to move the sphere orbits, which makes me think that switching spheres will be a mechanic later in the game when updated. Currently, you are at the end of what is available to play for the moment.
I think the other constellations are just there as a part of the theme, of simply being a means to hide the 'keys' to a series of 'locks', for lack of better description.
Of problem solving, of a process of elimination, and the classic picture puzzle type of 'some of these things are not like the others'.
I think the planetarium puzzle is fine as it is.
Although I wouldn't mind if one more constellation was added, perhaps one extra puzzle with one or more planets to 'replace' some of the existing planets, and a diagram with each showing which orbit they go into. (and have it where each only fits into the proper orbit?)
Although, I would be concerned about it becoming to complicated and drawn out. Not to mention what kind of 'under the hood' stuff might be needed to make such additions/changes.
Don't need anyone, player or dev, wanting to 'head desk', and go "When are we going to be done with this puzzle area?"
About the 'last room' in the present version.
It looks like the painter missed a spot, unless they just ran out of paint. :P
