If anything hard mode felt easier than some normal mode mainline games.
I don't personally mind one way or another how difficult someone makes their game as long as the difficulty isn't "boom surprise" garbage. This game is just obviously bending heavily towards accessibility instead of challenge, so I hope some people aren't turned off of it.
Kinda doubt that since this thing is still beautiful to play, it's a day 1 purchase for me definitely.
EDIT: Noted though that it does ramp up plenty in the third level so I'm hoping the latter half of levels is where the challenge is.
