No chance to save Sarah?

Chapter 4. Spoilers ahead.

Looks like I wasted too many time talking with Napoleon and Mortimer so I came to late to save Sarah. Is this how it's supposed to be? So I just had to punch Napoleon, screw Mortimer's speech/dialog (which is one of the best part in the game, tbh), just skip the entire third act in order to don't miss the final confrontation with Sarah.

I want some answers from her and now she's death. Nice move devs. I know it's a game of cause and consequence but this is just dumb.

Yeah, the only way you can save Sarah is to skip the Mortimer dialog, kinda lame actually

I know it's an old thread, but maybe someone will be looking for this, I managed to not hit Napoleon and talk a bit to Mortimer (I asked him about half of the available questions before skipping the rest) and Sarah was still there, so you don't actually have to skip everything, but you need to avoid the unnecesary questions and just stick to the main and most interesting ones.

If you punch Napoleon then you can listen to almost all of Mortimer's topics and still make it. I believe you need to miss out on at three topics at the least (so don't choose three of the topics and you should be fine, unless my memory is dodgy, which it could be).
