So, what's the best strategy for spending points here?
I'm a little bit disapointed about this game. The graphics and story are awesome but i didn't exepct what whole rpg thingy going on. Feels a bit artificial and that it relies too much on luck (saying the right answer, spending endurance to access the right item, etc).

Anyway, what is the best way to handle leveling and stuff. Should i try to accumulate as much skills as possible or focus on 1/2 max in each class ?

Hi Sodium,

You have two differents points of view :

Either you focus on a few skills so they cost you nothing to use, but you can't do everything.

Either you take a bit of every skills, so you will be able to do everything but it will cost you some "energy" everytime you use it.

Have a nice day,
Adrien

I honestly found my self allocating my skill points to all the skills- unlocking all of them so all options are available to me. I found it fairly easy to use my skills via carlemite water or replenishing my effort points with the royal honey or what not.

I personaly don't think the RPG elements don't work here.I think nothing would be different if they were not here.

Unlocking level 1 of everything as soon as possible is the best option in my opinion. Higher levels only reduce the cost of using those skills. In my playthrough i found that even with only level 1 you can pretty much do everything because there's an abundance of consumables that replentish your spendable points or reduce the cost of the next skill-usage to 0.
Additionally you gain a 10% exp boost once you unlock level 1 of everything making it even better to unlock level 1 of everyting asap.

I'd say that one or two skills offering alternative course of action in understanding other characters and two skills to see and gain items would have been a must have would have I known the game before playing at it. I tried Jack o' old trades instead of focusing to get lvl 2 for at least psychology, manipulation or diversion (for the dial options) and subterfuge and vigilance (maybe robbery and awarness in english ?). Those are really often asked to start a challenge/opportunity.
Yet most skills are very usefull and even agility is at least used half a dozen times.
Then you can evolve around Erudition, languages, History, Politics, and such which are less frequently used but still really present.
