SPOILERS: Choosing the right Lance
Hey guys,

Just wanted to know which spear you decided to choose. I have found all the clues.
It seems it has to be a spear-shaped, copper made and with a fish on it. All these correspond to the one placed on a very obvious place.

The only two things I do not like, are:
1. Placed to obvious, kind of makes you want to grab it.
2. The fish on it. I think it was mentioned in the game that it looks a bit weird that a Christian symbol was depicted on a Roman spear. The fishy symbol was also showed on the spear of the statue in Mortimer's office. Louis thinks it is a trap set up by Mortimer referring to the wrong shape, but maybe it also refers to the wrong symbol?

There is also a spear next to the Lord Mortimer's coffin. It is spear-shaped, copper made but has a crucifix depicted on it. It is also placed in the shadow, attracts less attention. Anyone thinks this is the real one?

I would much prefer the real spear to be the one next to Mortimer's coffin (arguably one of the easiest to miss), but I couldn't find a anything in the game to suggest that it wasn't the "obvious" Copper-Fish-Spear.

That said, if the issue is that the Fish is a "Christian" symbol, isn't the Cross one too?

It is nowadays, but Romans were crucifying people back to the times of Spartacus rebellion. Maybe after so many years for Romans it just became some of the things you might depict on your weapon, since it was a way of punishment? And later on, Christians adopted it as their symbol?

Early Christians used fish. Assuming that Longinus converted and he put the symbol himself it would be fish.
Longinus converted to christianity from another religion. I bet it was mithraism, a very popular mystic cult of roman soldiers in I century. Mithra's symbol is sun light. There are two lances with the symbol of sun: one near Flavius tomb and another one is located near piedestals.

One more thing: according to Piaggi, the lance should be covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Make sure that a lance you pick is covered by something. The most obvious choice (with fish symbol) is pure clean 🤔

Piaggi is also lying, so.

There are several spears with the Fish symbol. Only one of the spears is made of copper, has a fish symbol and is long-shaped.

It's the really obviously placed one on the pedestal with the torches. Lord Mortimer confirmed it for me when I showed it to him.

I think LM tried to use reverse-psychology when he hid it... But it backfired horribly.

solved. i missed a count for 1 lance, 13 in total, or 12 +1 longinus lance
