Asking questions to mortimer only affects the dialogue you can have with emma
Actually that is not the case, I completed the confrontation with Napoleon using dialog. Then I indeed passed up on asking any questions to Mortimer and I was still able to save Sarah.
Yea I had saved Peru, the confrontation with him did not affect the result. I mean I talked to Napoleon, skipped all questions with Mortimer, calmed Peru down and still managed to save Sarah.
I do wonder though if I had not saved Peru if then I could have asked Mortimer at least some questions.
It’s not very easy to test this stuff with this game as no option to skip the dialogues means every extra play through takes forever…
To keep it short mortimer just says "you are my son your ♥♥♥♥♥ mother took you away from me" "let me teach you some demon skills"
If I remember correctly you speak much with Peru afterwards. I think he just lowers his gun and fells to his knees crying or something like that and Mortimer just tells him leave immediately. And then comes the part you mention about the daemon powers.
