So this game is 30 fps on PC

No matter what? I take that as an insult.
I disabled the 30fps locked setting still I dont see 60fps how can a bloody game released on pc and mainly uses cutscenes and character interactions have such console pleb fps?

Yes the cutscenes are capped at 30 fps. Just see it as a positive so that cheap folks like you and your budget GPU can even watch the bloody thing.

I've got ryzen 2600, gtx 1060 6gb and 8 gb ram. The cutscenes are capped, thats fine, but an actual gameplay runs in 30-45 fps as well. What is wrong? My specs should make it 60 fps + in a gameplay. I guess the problem should only be with poor PC optimization.

I believe I have actually found the cause of the low FPS.

I played the game yesterday using my Playstation 4 controller, and was getting a steady 70 FPS.

Before going to bed that day, I unplugged my controller. I tried playing the game again (without my controller plugged in) and sure enough, my FPS was constant at 30. I plugged in my controller and then instantly my FPS increased to 70.

I have tested this multiple times, when I unplug my controller it goes back to 30, when I plug it back in it goes to 70 FPS.

In other words, if you have a controller, try to plug that in and see if you can't get atleast 70 FPS.

You may even be able to emulate this using some sort of controller emulator, someone else will have to try this..

P.S: Once my controller was actually plugged in, I can see no difference in FPS when using maximum settings as supposed to low.

Interesting. I think Final Fantasy 13 had a similar problem.

U braindead pleb I played witcher 3 with constant 60+fps and kingdom come with 50fps there is no reason why this game should have 30fps cutscenes.

some people posted 2,3 fixes in this thread they didnt really work for me but It doesnt matter anymore because we wont see any 60fps with low quality ep 3-5
fps wont be our main problem no mouth movements,lip syncing when speaking,game breaking bugs etc

if anyone still need help with low fps in game. for me help this:

after your game start, alt+tab and open some program (for me its battlenet launcher) then alt+tab to game.

I dont know how it works, but that help me every time with this game.

It`s true! Steam controller plugged in - about 100 fps, unplugged - about 40 fps on 1080ti at 1440k

Playing at 3440x1440P with everything cranked to max settings I'm getting a steady (♥♥♥♥♥♥) 33 fps with a 1080 Ti, Ryzen 2700X, 32mb RAM .... the game is pretty for sure, but I don't think it should be taxing a system like mine so much?

i had this issue as well alt tabbing out of the game and back to fix it was locked at constant 30 fps barely using any of my system once it fixed it self now get perfect 60 fps constant i could go higher but for this game there really is no need :)

i have a i5 8600k super over kill for this game and a 1060 6 GB card uses about 80 % of its power for this game on max at 60 fps locked
