My tranistion to episode 2 was terrible how was the rest of yours?
There are basically 3 or 4 endings to episode 1 my ending was the one where you stop drinking and leave elizabeth and then become suspect number 1 the next day in her death. At the start of episode 2 you meet up with the boss of the manor ( I forget his name) and he tells you about that elzabeth has been murdered and wants to be the investigator... this kind of makes no sense as the new episode does not address the fact at all that you were the prime suspect in episode 1. To me it kinda feels like they ran out of time and could not implement the changes needed to episode 2 for people that got this ending.
Anyway I am curious for those with different endings if their tranistion felt better?

Mine was kinda okay. I left Elizabeth to her fears and spent the night with Emily.

When lord Mortimer tried to play my conscience, I said: "I thought she could have waited till tomorrow".

Smooth sailing, in any way.

Same as above. Yes it's the same start for everyone no matter what you choose. It's basic telltale allover again. Ended ep 1 with Lord Mortimer in my room and puff now we are alone in his office. Horrible transition indeed

No, there are two (so far) beginnings. You're questioned and framed as the murderer if she died (leave while drinking or pass out while drinking with Elizabeth). Your start makes sense, because you went to bed before she died, and it's kind of hard to murder someone when there were others that were questioned and out and about when it happened.

If you sleep with the Dutchess or go with her to the room and decline her, you are the investigator instead.

The 4th ending is the one I'd like to know about: This is one of the two answers while drinking with Elizabeth on episode 1, where she stabs you instead of you waking up to her being murdered. I am assuming your game ends because you die at the beginning of the episode, but I'd like anyone who got this one to perhaps tell us.

I had the ending in which I told Elisabeth to leave the Island. And She seemed to be ready to cut me.

Apparently she was just toying with Louis, because she left without harming him.
In de beginning of episode 2 Mortimer and Holm questioned me about the disappearance of Elisabeth.

Yeah, I agree that the transition was a bit naff in that specific ending of Ep 1 - if you choose to not drink with Lizzie Ep1 ends with you being rudely awakened and arrested by Péru for her murder ; but when Ep2 starts it's just "oh hey would you be a good boy and find out who did it, kid ?". No mention of being a suspect, or why Péru of all people would have the power to arrest you here. Feels very janky.

The first conversation i stumbed on because i totally forgot what save was what, I had stayed the night with Miss Adams got drunk and she druged me, then i was told she was dead when i told her to leave, i failed the conversation because i used my skill to question which i thought would divert the conversation back onto the questioner but i still failed the conversation piece, that i don't understand because i used ability points and skill that i had earned from the previous storyline and it failed, then i read the friggin bible and said i've had enough, haven't played since.. Been trying to warm upto it again.

Either way it was pointless because so what im the prime suspect, doesn't change the outcome when i find the real culprit unless it gives me some kind of dead end storyline. which can happen considering they haven't factored in all skills properly because you have to use things like agility to grab items off shelves..

I have yet to continue my other two save's where i ended things on this note.

But if you're suspected of killing Elizabeth there's a confrontation with Holm in Mortimer's office. When you pass it Mortimer let's you go. That confrontation doesn't happen if you slept with Emily, so does it change based on the other endings? Here's the 4 endings from Ep1 and the 2 beginnings I've seen so far.

Ending: Go back to your room with Emily, wake up to a visit from Mortimer.
Beginning: Mortimer escorts you to his office, tells you Elizabeth is dead, there is no confrontation to prove your innocence (because he knows you were with Emily), he asks you to investigate the murder.

Ending: Go to Elizabeth's room, get drunk, tell her to leave the island, pass out with her looming over you with a knife.
Beginning: Mortimer escorts you to his office. He tells you Elizabeth is missing, and you were found passed out in her room. Holm accuses you of murdering her and disposing of the body. There is a very short and easy confrontation to convince them she actually left the island on your advice. You are not asked to investigate anything, the game skips ahead to you looking for the next clues about your mother.

Ending: Go to Elizabeth's room, get drunk, tell her to stay on the island, pass out with her looming over you with a knife, wake up next to her body. Holm enters the room and find you standing over Elizabeth.
Beginning: Haven't see it yet.

Ending: Go to Elizabeth's room, leave before you get drunk. Wake up to Peru and Holm kicking in your door to arrest you for murder.
Beginning: Mortimer escorts you to his office, tells you Elizabeth is dead, asks you about your meeting with her, there is no confrontation with Holm, he asks you to investigate the murder.

This for me too. I got ending 4. Utter pants. No continuity whatsoever. I am arrested, and then next scene I am the detective.
