The Game's Existence and Availability

Is there an earlier version I can play❓
- Check our Demo on the Steam page.

Estimated release date❓
- January 2025.

Is Fur and Fables Streamer-friendly (Copyrighted music, etc.) ❓
- Yes.

What is the price of the game❓

Will there be a port for consoles❓
- It is not planned at the moment, but we might think about it in the future.

Will the game be ported to Linux and Mac❓
- The PC version is our top priority, and as we are a very small team - that doesn’t leave enough time to create reliable versions for other OS's. But we’ll consider it if there is enough demand from the community.

What languages will be available in the game❓
- Currently available in English, with plans to add more languages in the future.



Gameplay and Content

Are you going to add more characters in the future❓
- Yes! We already have some in the works :)

Do the characters play differently❓
- Each character class has its own weapon and abilities that will add their unique flavor to your party of adventurers.

Does the game feature microtransactions or DLCs❓
- Fur and Fables does not and will not feature microtransactions. We will consider paid DLCs if we think the amount of content in the DLC justifies that.

Do you plan on adding more content after the game releases❓
- Yes, we have plans for more stages, characters, weapons, and more!

What is the main gameplay loop of Fur and Fables❓
- Fur and Fables is a party-based bullet heaven. You recruit a party of adventurers and fight your way through different stages. Your characters can level-up and collect upgrades, and you can find new friends along the way.

Are there custom classes/character builds in Fur and Fables❓
- There are no custom classes, but you can tailor the party to your playstyle and choose the characters and upgrades that you like. A party consisting of one character from each class will play differently from a party of four turtles and a rat :)

Is there going to be a competitive/ranked mode in Fur and Fables❓
- No.

Will you be able to play the game against friends or in co-op❓
- There is no co-op mode planned at the moment.

Will there be online multiplayer in Fur and Fables❓
- Not at this time.

How many bosses will we have❓
- There are currently 2 bosses and 5 mini bosses, with more planned in the future.

How many characters are planned❓
- There are six character classes at the moment with two more in the works, so 8. But we would like to add more characters in the future.

Will there be different modes/maps❓
- We are planning to add more map variety. Additional game modes: We have some ideas in the works, but probably not for the initial release.



The Studio

Who is Double Crow Games❓
- Double Crow is a (very) small studio of experienced developers. After working for years on mobile games, we wanted to switch gears and create games that we are the target audience for. And hopefully you’ll like them too! :)

Who are the devs❓
- Gideon - Game designer and programmer, and Eric - graphic designer, illustrator and animator. We’ve been working on Fur and Fables for the better part of two years.

How did you choose the game characters❓
- Animals. We love them. You love them. They look cute in armor. They kick ass. We love animals.

What engine is Fur and Fables built on❓
- Fur and Fables is built using the Unity engine.
