If I get the Nashira DLC, can it be turned off in the settings?

I like fighting the Massari. Can the DLC be toggled on/off? If so, what parts? Thanks!

You still have to fight the Messari if you have the DLC. You can't switch of the Eclipse in the game itself, however, you can still easily switch the installed version between Eclipse of Nashira and First Contact. Personally I don't see a need to, Eclipse of Nashira is the better game.

Both events, the eclipse as well as the Messari-invasion can be disabled independantly by editing the corresponding XML-files in the games data-directory. They include a turn-number when these events will happen and you can set this to a million turns or so which will never be reached and thus essentially disable the event.

But as I understood you, you don't want to disable the events but instead make sure they both occur. That's the case by default.

I think I could easily make a mod for EoN that disables all of the EoN-features while keeping the AI-improvement.

But I don't really see the point in doing that as, what daniel said, with Eclipse the game simply is better. A Pandora without Amphibious Formers would be rather dull.
