Is there a way to disable one of the future techs by editing a peice of code?
Artificial intelligence renders the game pretty much tacticless.
I know there is a way to disable all the future techs but that would take away the stealth bomber along with them and I do wanna keep the stealth bomber.
So I am looking for a way to dsiable just one future tech.

Any help will be appriciated! Thank you!

most likely you can make a mod, that only disables the three other future age technologies.
Never tried it myself tho.

The only mod i made.... way back in the past (before steam) was a Mod to make Thrones and Patriots without the senators.

Thanks!
But... I have never made a mod before. Could you possible help me find the file and the piece of code to change?

Well I am looking in to it
The code is not that hard. I just have no clue how to get the game being loaded in this new game. Workshop does not upload the files so far.

Well it is not working that clear... the button stays visible and you can press it, but it wont take away your resources, nor can you research teh technology.

My advice for online games is that you clearly state at start of the game that the technology is not available tho, so people will not get confused....

Thanks a lot for the work! I really appriciate that! It should has the same effect on AI players right?
Btw, where is the download button? I didn't find it...
Save your time. No one wants to play mods because they can be used to cheat.

AI doesn't make the game strategy-less.

When you click on subscribe you get the mod i believe.
Whatever it is, shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

figured it out already. Thanks! But when I tried to custom my game, the script option only allows to to apply one mod at a time. Is there any way I can have two? Say I want "No AI" and "No nuke" them both?

Oh, so is your arrogance one of things that come from the power of Christ?

You can always re-write the script and have them both in one...
Easypeasy
Just combine the lines.
Besides the mod is seperate from the script as well.

You said I don't know what I'm talking about. And now I'm arrogant for reminding you of your shallow knowledge of the game? You forget thyself sir.

Actually, to the OP, if you want to keep the Stealth Bomber, there are a number of other ways you could achieve what you like.

One way is to tie the Stealth Bomber to a different tech. Say, Science8 (which is what it's tied to in the Cold War campaign, if I recall correctly). I believe this is easily altered in the units.xml or unitrules.xml with the precursor tech for Stealth Bomber. Then you just disable the EndGame techs in the selection screen.
