How large maps does this game have?

As a veteran Empire Earth player I am curious how large maps does this game have in comparison. I'm used to playing Empire Earth on a random map script with the Gigantic size. It is the biggest map I've seen in an RTS-game. Is there anyone out there who has played both games and could give me some kind of a comparison?

I don't own Rise of Nations yet - because map size is the key element here. I like to take my sweet time with building up the base and strengthening my army. And I need room to do that - a lot of it. Please guys, give me a sales speech.

I'm not implying that my strategy would suit for any game. It's not a killer strategy in EE either. Someone who would attack right away would beat me instantly. But it works when you're playing with a friend who likes to play like that aswell. It's a deal between players.

I didn't get a proper answer about the map size though... I usually play 1vs1 games. How does the Big Huge feel like with two players?

all these kids can handle is a fast rush game. the generation of 'winning isn't everything, it's the ONLY thing' leaves little room for actual fun. too much like real life..as though we didn't make games to escape that.
