Thank you.
My good chap, I can't thank you enough! I have no idea what GX is or what it does but switching it off appears to have done the trick! Once again, thank you.
Killing the HsMgr.exe prozess and restarting the game worked for me fine.
1. Select all the sound tracks
2. Right click
3. Add to windows media playlist
4. Then save it
5. Now start the playlist whenever you play the game and put it on repeat to start all over again when the tracks are done.
If you have audio but the songs appear and reappear then
1. Do all the above but set Music volume in Audio Settings (in the game) all the way to the left (AKA 0)
Now you can enjoy the game with the Rise of Nations sound track that you love.
Hope this helps =)
Thanks buddy . Saved me a lot of effort
Glad to see this thread is still helping some people.
it also has the side effect of letting you play any media file you can imagine in windows media player :P
I don't have a sound card, just using onboard sound. Have tried adjusting all settings, have tried installing the k-lite mega codec pack, all to no avail. Are there specific setting srequried for k-lite? Running Windows 10, PLEASE HELP!!
