the ai are dumb

entire late game the ai are inactive they don't do anything apart from defending this i dont remember being the case when i played this game as a mere young lad

even when suggesting a mutual attack with your ai allied in diplomacy mode they just dont attack at all ever

when you go to war with them they also just spam you peace offers

sounds like youre on a lower difficulty, I do recall having these occurrences, but only when im playing Moderate difficulty or below

ah that would explain it

though i doubt im actually decent enough to do any higher than moderate as i always have the entire lobby filled with bots maybe i could handle one or two idk have to try

I would recommend when you put them on moderate or below to do the "rush" computer setting. Makes them much more likely to attack, but they will still have decent defense

increase the difficulty. lower difficulty they wont do anything. its like a tutorial if you play in lower difficulty

Alright yeah they do attack now even in late game

I lost when i had a full game of bots did pretty well against 4

This solved my problem
