How to play for one nation with several players?

Believe a player for ' each nation ',

other than the extra ' Team ' play selection (team of nations vs another team) or ' Allied ' option.

you have to choose the same color/nation while being on the same team, this will then allow you to play as the same nation. I think this can only be done in the "custom" teams/ruleset when making the match conditions.
