Low FPS even if on low settings
I used to play on high fps back in 2005 and 2014 (disc version), now I got the Steam version and the game is always on 30-14 FPS mostly, is there any way to fix it? Really love the game but never had such bad performance before on a old game..

I can tell you that it's the same computer I've played back in 2014 when I was having smooth gameplay:

i7-2630QM CPU 2.00GHz and 6GB of RAM

try disabling anti aliasing. You usually dont need aa if you are playing on a high resolution.

Have you tried updating graphics drivers or just reinstalling graphics drivers? I had a bad update of NVidia drivers after which RON started lagging. Reinstalling helped for me.

Looks like you need a GPU! The intel cards before the 6th gen i5/7 series are crappy. You can get a cheap one for less than $100.

If you are low on budget get this: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GV-N1030OC-2GI-Nvidia-GeForce-Graphics/dp/B07646VQ6T/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1548689588&sr=8-1&keywords=nvidia+1030

If you can spare around $130, this will last you for some advance games too: https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-Support-Graphics-02G-P4-6150-KR/dp/B01M9FD3PC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1548689613&sr=8-1&keywords

Can i take a guess... is your Operating System Windows 10? Have you also checked if your laptop is using to much RAM (Random Access Memory) next time you are running the game check on how much of your RAM is being used, and then you may be able to upgrade your RAM (If your laptop has another RAM slot).
