Getting allies to attack?
How do you get your allies to attack? I know that there is a command to ask them to attack, but does that work? Will your allies in a game attack on their own?

To get them to at least send troops to a location, you can press Numpad 0 and click on the map position, then type 19 in the chat. 19 is the "attack" voice command, and most of the time if you do those two things together they will send some troops to that location

Do your allies ever attack on their own?

Of course. They'll attack whenever they have an army that they feel is large enough, but you can't always rely on them attacking when/where you need them to

Those commands that he stated are extremely useful. I use them on a regular basis, and the AI responds to them fairly well. Although sometimes they'll just flat out ignore you
