Rise of Legends

So I don't know why but out of nowhere I wanted to play this game, but don't want to risk buying it off Amazon or something and it not be compatible with software now lol...... anyone else remember this gem? I don't know why so many gave it such negative feedback..... I loved this game, and I wish it got remade or put on steam....I'd buy it in a heartbeat

Really? I know many people wanted it to come to steam but I never noticed its official launch on steam, just the RoN: Extended Edition only. I don't think ive seen too many games go on steam then removed from steam, people get their money refunded for it leaving?

I played for hundreds and hundreds of hours before it came to steam (i played it on a game service called Metaboli) and bought it here on steam too. I love this game. I don't know why so many put negative reviews.

I bought Rise of Nations (again for steam version lol ) 2 months after it launched on steam, and I NEVER seen Rise of Legends...... f*** me.... how long was it available for before they took it down?

The only thing I can truly think of was its compatiability to later versions of windows.... doesn't make sense because there are so many games with massive negative reviews and they still exist >.> lol

ROL was never available on Steam, Microsoft bought the game rights back for RON & ROL in 2013, Skybox got the dev rights for RON and made a EE in 2014, but currently no one has the dev rights for a ROL EE so if you know of another dev team maybe they can do it if Skybox doesn't.

ROL has always been a moddable game and in 2016 ROL BIG Archiver[ryder25.itch.io] was released which makes the modding even more easier.

Buy the original version of Rise of Legends. Mine functions on Windows 10.

Please make this available on Steam, game was so fun. It was really sad how it died due to awful dev support. I wonder what happened to all the people I played with regularly - AsTheRuinsFall, Solar, Darthsidious, Dietcherrypepsi, f3nics, Peterdumptruck and so on...

love ROL and still have the DISC for PC and it works great on Windows 10 i love this game more then RON

I used to have trouble running it on Windows 10(I got alot of graphical errors) but setting it to Windows XP in compatibility mode made it work fine.
