optional solutions for Metro Last Light crashes on pc

- restart last played chapter (your weaopns and other game progression will load)

- go to your steam installation folder named 'steam' > steamapps > common > Metro Last Light Redux > rightclick metro.exe > properties > compatibility tab > check the box 'run as administrator' and click ok
If you can not find your steam folder, try to search it in Windows Explorer

- open NVIDIA control panel > under '3D settings' click 'manage 3D settings' > select program settings tab > select Metro Last Light Redux > set 'OpenGL rendering' to your preferred graphics card > set 'Negative LOD bias' to off > set 'Threaded Optimaltion'to on
apply settings
If this does not work, you can restore the default settings.

- tip: headsets, monitors, bluetooth and other connected devices can have a negative effect on the game launch. example: try a wired controller connection instead of bluetooth (or vice-versa)

- open Steam > library > right-click Metro Last Light Redux > select properties > select updates tab > select only update when launch and never allow background downloads > select tab 'Installed Files' and verify integrity of game files
