Khan level: Can't bring out lighter at all

So I'm a bit of the way through the Khan level at a point where you need to bring out the lighter to burn cobwebs so you can pass through a narrow passage. The thing is, no matter how many different keys I map it to, the lighter won't come out (even tried my mouse buttons).

I'm sure I could probably get through without it but it really bugs me.

Is there something really obvious and I'm just being stupid or is there something genuinely wrong here where one of you have experienced/can help.

Nevermind, just loaded to last checkpoint and it fixed itself. Strange though. Wasn't able to heal or use the gas mask as well.

For a "Redux" this game is still pretty buggy and I've ran into more issues already than the original Last Light ironically. Still a great looking and fun game nonetheless.

In my case, the only way that i fix it was connecting my controller and press up dpad to bring out the lighter.
