Deleted diaries and settings

At 3 am I had 42/43 diary pages closed the game.
9 hours later I had everything deleted (Diary, movement , aiming) except for where I was in the level and the guns although it wasnt a checkpoint and with settings as n/a.

I deleted the config file in the roaming directory and looked at the save files which are intact but without any diary pages.

What to do?
