Loading chapters

When I load any chapter it only loads a later chapter even though I just started a new game! The load a chapter section only shows 4 chapters available, but when I click on any of them it starts the train ride to the later chapter where you fight a big war. I have this big machine gun in my hand that I did not have anywhere so far in the game. I seem to be fighting against the reds for the nazis. I never reached this part yet. I need to go back to an earlier chapter but it only loads here..... How can I fix it?

I had a similar problem. Uninstalling, reinstalling and then verifying files seemed to work. Unfortunately, I was originally trying to uninstall and reinstall to fix a bug with journal entries so I could finish them up, but it did not fix that.

I figured it out! It is loading the first in the list of extra content missions on the next page. I could only reload a chapter by double clicking directly on that chapter's line on the page. Do not click the load button.

Thank you so much! I tried so many things before that.
I hope the crashing bug will be fixed by all the things I did, because just like mstetler1, I was first trying to fix that...
