Screen Blurry in 720p?

Well, I can run this game okay on medium to high settings on my crappy laptop. BUT, my laptop cannot handle 1080p even on 2d games so I must play 720p which is fine by me. This is the only game I've played in 720p where the screen is so blurry, it hurts my eyes. There must be a fix to this blurriness?

And no, Buying a new pc isn't a valid response as I have a life and there are far more important things I must spend my money on.

I am using an Nvidia Geforce 840m 2gb card and my CPU is quad core 2.6 ghz. Like I said, it runs okay on medium which is fine by me, (40-60 fps) but its just this is the only game to look super fuzzy in 720p. Every other game I have including The Witcher 2 all aren't blurry in 720p so but there must be a problem with the resolution settings in Last Light Redux.

And as far as game settings goes, I turned off AA and all that fancy stuff from the medium settings, I had SSAA off as well.

Disable GPU and Monitor aspect ratio correction in the Nvidia control panel. It'll render the game at exactly the res you set it to and display at the same res in the centre of your monitor. Sure you're image will be far smaller, but won't be blurry at all. Upto you which you decide to do :P
