Will it work on my computer?

My specs:

Intel Core i5-4210U 2.4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 840M
System type: 64 bit

Well i can run Fallout 4 on Medium and Skyrim on High. And max settings are not that important, the main thing is, i can play the game...

Don't use physx, tess, or SSAA. Beyond that you should be able to play low/medium 1080p at decent fps. 840m is not for gaming, but this game can scale lower pretty well.

Well i can play on High on 1920x1080 resolution without tesselation. I get like 30-40 fps. But i only tried Metro 2033. Don't know if Last Light will work. And soon i will upgrade to an real PC not an Laptop. For like 600$-800$ i could get something decent.

Well i've played Metro 2033 for 6 hours now and i never ran into performance issues or framedrops. My settings were on High, 1920x1080, Tesselation off, SSAA x4 and i still had 30-40 fps throughout the game.

Trek you need to chill the hell out. I forgot an A. You dont use grammar, nor do YOU know what your talking about. With tesselation off, and SSAA off, he could run filtering, quality, and res max easy.

no way in hell you play at 1080 on high with SSAAx4 and get 30-40 fps with an 840m even with tessellation off. that is the same as playing at 4k so you have lost your mind claiming that. even an oced 980 ti is only in the 70-80s on those exact settings and an oced 980 ti is TWELVE times faster than that pitifully slow 840m.

I think you mean AFx4 not SSAAx4 as SSAA would have to be off or you would be in the single digits at times. even at 1080 on high settings with no tessellation and with SSAA off you would not get 30-40 fps the whole time and would be in the 20s quite a bit.

Um...you're just rating my computer by my graphics card. I can play Fallout 4, Skyrim, Payday 2, Battlefield 3, Call of Juarez, Metro Redux...I think a 80s computer wouldn't handle this. And i'm pretty sure that in the 20s computers didn't really existed. I used Fraps to show my fps and it never dropped down below 30 fps...
