Not enough filter time when first going to the surface with Pavel.

I'm playing on ranger hardoce if that changes how many filters you can find. I just don't have enough time to get the the Theater Station gate. My filter goes out, Artyom takes off his mask, I run to the gate but I can't open it until Pavel gets there and then I suffocate. Do I have to restart the game because I couldn't find enough filters before going to the surface?

Oh and the latest checkpoint is just before you get boosted into the building the station is in but without a filter so I have to run blindly in the building and as far as I can tell there isn't any filters in there, just ammo and medkits.

I know of two filters within 30 seconds of walking into the sunlight. Do a better job of constantly searching for supplies.

Dude, you can restart the level. I find the mission on the surface after Venice is quite hard. No filters at all and Venice do not sold them. So i restart the level completely.

There are filters, but hard to find^^ Check behind from where you come, inside the buildings, there are bodies which may have filters. Thought I was screwed as well, but there was one in the building on the right (behind)

How many filters are there in this section? I've played through it several times now and can only find two spots. The last time I played I ran out right as Pavel was banging on the metro door and if I had been 20 seconds later I would've been screwed again.

Pretty sure one is in the bathroom, 1 when you go down the stairs underground, 1-2 on the plane, and then 2 on corpses after the plane. Much more than enough. Really, load to an earlier checkpoint and don't screw up so bad.

There's one on the wrecked car just beside the building where you fight those monsters. After you load the checkpoint just go straight to the car and take it before you enter the door with Pavel.
