Mother Bear Stuck

Ive beaten the mother bear a few times , but the gate out wont open!!! Also the last few beasts feeding on the carcas do blood spatter when hit but wont die! According to the U-Tubes it should open when she dies. Plus the map shows it is the way out. Even tries slashing and exploding it. Any one have cheat codes to open it?
I just dont see any other way to move ahead :(

Did you try saving her from the watchmen? That usually what I do.

I killled lots of them as well while she attacked me

But did you kill the ones trying to kill her after the fight?

I got exactly the same problem, on the original (not redux) version you hit her a few times she runs off crashing trough the plants into the next area and than she goes down and gets attacked by the watchmen and you can save her from them.
But in Redux she goes down in the first area and 3 or 4 watchmen (i guess the ones that are suposed to attack her aftershe runs out of the area) are not affected by any weapons at all.

Unfortunately, the only way forward is to go to the chapter select menu and restart the chapter in question. Continuing from last checkpoint will not work.

Ah worked it out! She has to brake down the barrier for you to escape. And hitting her everywhere else than predominantly the vulnerable red highlighted back bit wont allow her to do the brake-out (when the screen whites up the game slows down). Hitting her every-where else just makes her come after you more. It will just kill her and lock you there :(

Yeah, the weak spot needs to be hit. The dark on child tells you this, listen to NPCs.

Well I did hit that as well, but either she or I died before she broke the barrier open
