Bug on Bandits

I cant knock anyone out in this part of the game for some reason, every time i walk behind a enemy and to to press E to knock him out, nothing happens. Does someone have a solution? This can really screw up my game, since i am trying to get all achievements, and there is one where i cant kill anyone during the campaing.

I dont use the default buttons. But, when I knock out someone, i press the "USE" button, same button I press to pick up stuff. I think E is default to knife someone.

Reload from prior chapter and pray.

Yeah!! Me too, but every time when i come from behind a enemy, it appear's on my screen two options, E to knock out and V to kill, but now, nothing.

Sorry dude, this is long time issue and i think it will never be fixed. I just beat the game for Redemption achievement and GOD! i was pretty upset cuz from level Bandits i couldnt knockout enemy. It sucks, Metro as itself is amazing game with horrible problems like non-fixed bug and bad optimalize

Well, I noticed early that using Continue button is not an option for me, even if I have Nvidia GPU. Never had problem with anything in game when using chapter selection when I start the game, but i use "Last checkpoint" in game If i get killed and it works fine. Always end game by loading next level and then quit. I also disable Phsyx ingame... Its enebled in GPu settings. Didnt see any major texture changes.

KIlling in the bandit level will not impact your chances of achieving the good ending. Killing "hostiles" does not result in bad moral points.

Oh there is another Problem: I still cant knock the Humans out after the Bandit level. And there are a lot of Stages with them. + At the End of the game there are like 100 Humans and I have this Minigun when I shoot them does it count for the bad ending?

Bruh I dont know whats happening I played the game again to bandits and the bug is gone I can knock em out #GOODENDING :)

btw I got the commando achievment by just knocking all bandits of :D

for anyone coming across this bug this is how you avoid it, it works every time.

After youve come across the refugees in the tunnel get off buy your stuff then get on and when you have droven a few meters you will come across a woman screaming for help and some bandits trying to rape her.

its the first entrance to your right, DO NOT go into that tunnel DO NOT attempt to save her, dont even approach the entrance, stay as close to the track as you can and walk straight and youll find some bandits, take them all out and save the dude tied up then after he moves his railcar get back on your and drive.

be very carefull as to not step too close to the entrance toward the girl being raped.
because as soon as you do and you see the bandits on your screen the bug will appear 95% of the time.

this is the only way to completly avoid the bug.

i know but i had to post it, i was desperate for a solution and searched all off the internet for a solution and no-one had it and when i finally figured it out i had to tell people.

when people google, this thread will come up. since there is no solution how to avoid the bug aside from this and the bug is still in the game isnt it good to revive it with a solution?

Yeah you are right, I somehow fixed it by going to the chapter before Bandits
