This makes filters as valuable as MGR's you find out there or more.
there were buyable filters in the first game. i thought i remember seeing them before in this game but i did not need them till now :(
and im pritty sure in lore the people of the metro Make filters and don't just find them magically strewn around the surfaces.
speaking of things Hellbreath the gauss cannon seems to be absant in this game along with the Helsing :(
We are on survival mode, son. And if you actually take your time killing all the monsters there, you are pretty sure to run out of filters even with picking up all the other filters in the swamp area.
Then, I kept running out of air... that church sequence, I had to replay it a few times to keep their dialogue from killing me. That taught me to run and gun, and really, just run!
It is a bummer there are no filters for sale, even if just a couple at a high price.
It isn't a problem of if I am getting good, it's that there is this whole map the designers made, it seems like a crime to not explore it. Or explore it and revert to a save like in a normal game that isn't a checkpoint that crippled my progress because I wanted to look at the level design...
After replaying that area and running through all those useless mobs, I realized I had tons of filters left -_-".
In anycase, it really doesn't make any sense about not selling filters..... If it ever had occured in the real world, selling filters will be the next most profitable thing to do, unless of course it's as rare as the MGR currencies.
How about scavengers? Also, the soldiers? There are tons in the game arent there?
We have reds, Nazis, the order, and possibly a throng more of others, i.e. yakuza, bandits, and what have you.
They should be selling the filters (at least in military installations) I should think.
Hopefully Metro Exodus fixes this.
