BAD ENDING WTF
What is the criteria to get the good ending? I think i have done most things that would result in a good ending but NOPE. Bad ending-everyone dies.

Wondering if that chick with my baby was Anna.
If it was her, my pull out game weak as hell, mate.

There are certain things you have to do throughout the game as in 2033. Listen to people talk, do something good, and the like. You'll hear a click and the screen wil flash for a split second. Those are what gets the good ending.

The classic definition of 'good' vs. 'bad' ending is pretty vague for MLL.

To me Artyom sacrificing at the end was the 'good' ending as it marked the redemption of humans for their action against the Dark Ones and provided a chance to amend the relationship. However many will not see it this way naturally.

Good ending:

Beat the game a second time, forgive whenever you can, complete sections where you can stealth... in stealth, without killing anyone. (knocking out counts as forgiving)

Another method is to do that on your first playthrough, reload the game after Red Square and finish it again. Your major hint comes when the Little One leaves you. The stuff he tells you will determine your ending.

If you have already got a bugged game where you can no longer knock out anyone in stealth segments, just remember that forgiving Pavel and Leninsky grants the most morale points. Go wiki up on Morale points.

Oh I didn't think there were multiple endings, but now that I checked on YouTube there do appear to be. It's only 2 endings but they result in the same things except for your character living and dying, depending on prior decisions in the game...

This is a spoiler but if you haven't played the ending and you're reading this then you're looking for spoilers unfortunately.

here u can find moral points for this game, if u have done enough moral points u will have a different ending where all don't die.

You just have to listen to conversations, give to beggars, forgive pavel &lesnitsky, find secret areas/loot and in general try to be morally good (Also helps if you dont kill anyone at all, but I dont always bother with that).

Mate, I killed pavel and lesnitsky, i did everything wrong. I made sure i kill as many people as i could, because i wanted to really enjoy the game experience.. Maybe i will have to go through the game once again, but that just doesn't seem worth it. I'd rather die being a hero.

I think the "bad ending" its the best ending for Metro Last Light. Maybe we play a another guy in the next Metrogame.

The book 2035 is based off the good ending, which we will then follow off with. You may be right about a different character, we may not play artyom in the next game (They cant leave Khan and Miller out though).

i want the bad ending, there is an achievement for it

Easy - kill both Lesnitsky and Pavel, don't tip any beggars, ignore NPC's conversations, kill two Reich NPCs who surrender to you, and kill any NPCs you knock out. That'll do it, and get you one more achievement for Pavel. That or go Ranger Hardcore - the good ending isn't possible in that setting.

There are some levels like "Bandits" in which you should not kill anyone. That is explained in a guide. If you kill only one of them, it will not matter what you do in the rest of the level. Everything you do will be negative. The best thing is that if you want to get the good ending, you better not kill anyone. Well if you want to kill someone, just kill on the level when you're going to escape with Pavel. With only killing one for nostalgia, it serves you.
